This is a short and sad message to inform you that our rescue cat Billy died suddenly and without warning on Friday afternoon. We re-homed him from your wonderful organisation on the 30th March 2005 and we had the happiest of eight and a quarter years together, Billy proving to be the gentlest and most affectionate of cats whom was not only our pet but also a much loved family member whom we will miss dearly with all our hearts. The only comfort is that he doesn’t seem to have suffered in death and was making his way home for his tea when his heart apparently expired just a few short metres from home. He has been taken from us tragically early (we think he was about 11 or 12) but at least he can now enjoy a good long sleep, something he always enjoyed.
May we express many thanks for bringing Billy into our lives in the first place and please be rest assured that he enjoyed a wonderful and peaceful time with us, we only wish it could have been longer.
Kindest regards to all your staff and volunteers,
The Turner family
