Animal: Black Cat
Location: Rugmere Close Great Thornton Street HU1 3DZ
Date: 22 Feb 2015
Hello, my name’s Demi, my cat has been lost since yesterday morning (22 February 2015) and was last seen at 11 Rugmere Close, Great Thornton Street, Hull. HU1 3DZ. Unfortunately, he is not micro-chipped.
His name is Louie, he is fully black with a little bit of white hair on his chest (I think from age now from natural colour), he is male and is around 14 years of age, he is also quite a chubby big cat. He has been in the family since he was born. I am no longer living at home but this is my mum’s pet who lives at the above address.
He is fully blind with two eyes missing, his eyelids are stitched down and to anyone walking by he would just look as though his eyes are closed.
He was last seen at the above address in the garden. Although blind he still goes outside but stays within the our garden and our next door neighbours garden, the fences are high but he occasionally climbs the fence between our two gardens to sit on top of the garage but other than that he should not be able to get out (the garages are tall and the other fences have been ‘climb proofed’ to ensure his safety), he has been blind for around 7 years now and this has never happened before. We assumed that as he is blind he cannot have gone far but we have searched the whole area and have not seen any sign of him. He will not be able to find his way home and we cannot begin to imagine where he is. If he has managed to get out we are hoping someone saw a confused, blind cat and took him in for safety.
