Happy Endings

Pip The Gerbil

Pip The Gerbil I am writing to tell you how Pip the gerbil is getting on :

I will start by explaining the picture: it is Pip in his new gerbil-arium as you can see he has dug his first tunnel in it. The dog in the picture is Leo (he is loving watching the gerbil) it's great!

Since the picture Pip has dug many more tunnels and is having a great time. He loves climbing the ladders and running around in his wheel.

I'm getting the hang of picking him up now and am holding him much more! Though I did get my confidence knocked once because he bit me but apart from that he has been very well behaved. He spends about a quarter of the day sleeping in his coconut. I clean his bottles out at least twice a week and mum changes the sawdust once a month.

Pip also has plenty of things to chew on e.g. egg boxes and toilet and kitchen tubes.

Overall I love Pip to bits and I would like to say a huge thank you to you for giving Pip to me !

Thanks again

from Tanya L Cooper

P.S. you can only just see Leo's head.

Charlie

Charlie Martin Wendy Grace and Joe contacted us after adopting Ci from the centre.

'We thought you may like to know how Charlie is getting along (it was Ci but we thought he looked more like a Charlie and he seemed to like it). Well after a few hissing and spitting sessions with Max and Dylan they have made friends and often have an afternoon nap together. He is a lovely cat and likes to sit on the sofa and watch TV. One thing we do find very strange is his obsession with jumping out of the windows even when the door is left open. He will jump out of one window and come straight back through another. Also we wish we could speak cat because sometimes he has such a tale to tell he will even follow you to the loo and carry on the conversation outside the door.

We think he is very happy in his new home and is a very welcome addition to the family.
